Barbara Lind
Post-doctoral fellow

Barbara Lykke Lind joined Professor Volterras group as a post.doc. August 1st 2017. Here she will work with rapid Ca2+ changes in astrocytes in sensory cortex of awake mice. She is experienced in in vivo two-photon microscopy, electrophysiology, optically based blood flow detection and Ca2+data analysis. With a background in human biology she finished her Ph.D. at the University of Copenhagen in October 2013 on fast Ca2+ changes in astrocytes in relation to blood flow regulation. Since then she has continued her work in Professor Martin Lauritzens group at University of Copenhagen.
