Maria Bolla
Post-doctoral fellow

Maria got her bachelor degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Naples “Federico II” (Italy) in 2014 and graduated in Biological Sciences-Molecular Diagnostic at the University of Naples “Federico II” (Italy) in 2016. After concluding her master degree, Maria worked for a stage experience in Neurobiology about at “Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique” (CNRS), IPMC, Nice, France in 2016. Then, she obtained her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Neurotechnologies at the “Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia”, Genova, Italy. She joined Volterra's group as post-doc to study astrocyte involvement in CNS pathologies.
