Erika Bindocci
PhD student

Erika obtained her Master Degree in Neurobiology at the University of Rome La Sapienza, where she studied traits of animal behavior considered to be endophenotypes of major human psychiatric disorders, such as autism and depression. Her PhD project in Volterra lab is focused on the study of neuron-glia interactions by means of advanced imaging techniques, including 3D two-photon Ca2+ imaging and miniature microscopes able to record network activity in awake, freely moving mice.
