Gaëlle Awad
Post-doctoral fellow

Gaëlle Awad holds a Master in Medical Biology from the University of Lausanne. She then did a PhD in Strasbourg with Dr.Sci. Katia Befort at the Laboratoire de Neurosciences Cognitives et Adaptatives. She was working on neuroinflammation in binge drinking and binge eating mouse models. She is now a Post Doc at the Pain Center of the CHUV investigating a viral based gene therapy approach as a treatment for chronic pain.
