Lorenzo Minotta
Trainee

Lorenzo did his Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology for health in Naples (Italy) and recently obtained his Master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology from the University of Turin (Italy). During his master thesis at the Neuroscience Institute Cavalieri Ottolenghi (N.I.C.O.) in Turin, he investigated the relationship between sleep disorders and Alzheimer’s disease; and the effect of periodic fasting in a complex mouse model.
Lorenzo received a grant from the Erasmus Traineeship Programme in Italy to do a 2 months’ internship in Julien Puyal Lab “Autophagy, cell death and neuroprotection in perinatal brain injuries” from mid-February 2023 to mid-April 2023.
