Anita Truttmann
Staff attending and Associate Professor in Neonatology

Anita Truttmann obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree in 1992 from the University of Bern and her medical thesis from the Institute of Physiology (1993-1994). She trained in Pediatrics in Bern obtaining her FMH in Pediatrics in 1998 and then specialized in Neonatology in Lausanne (title in 2003). She spent 2 years in Montreal (clinical fellowship at Saint Justine) and then in Philadelphia (research fellowship at MCP-Hahnemann University). She is a staff attending in the clinic of neonatology (Department of Mother, Women and Child, Lausanne Hospital) in Lausanne since 2002, and specialized in brain development and neonatal neurology. Anita Truttmann has several clinical research collaborations (Neonatology, Neuroradiology) and is also co-leader of the research group “Neuroprotection for neonatal stroke and asphyxia”.
