Maxime Alessandri
PhD student

Maxime Alessandri completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Neuchâtel. He then completed his master’s degree in medical biology at the University of Lausanne and did his master’s thesis in the lab of Prof. Jean-Yves Chatton where he assessed the morphology and coupling of astrocytes in the dentate gyrus. He then stayed to start a Ph.D. to understand the role of the lactate receptor HCAR1 in epileptic seizures.
