Lukas Rambousek
Post-doctoral fellow

Lukas Rambousek joined Paola Bezzi’s group as a postdoc on August 1st. He will investigate the role of astrocytes in the neuropsychiatric disorders such as 22q11 deletion syndrome. Lukas has expertise in in vivo pharmacology, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology and animal behavior. He completed his PhD in neurosciences in 2015 working on Charles University in Prague, University of Zurich and Roche Pharmaceuticals in Basel. After that, he continued his work as a postdoc at the Institute of Experimental Immunology, University of Zurich with Prof Adriano Fontana investigating novel molecular mechanisms in epilepsy.
