<p>En collaboration avec les services partenaires du CHUV, le CTO offre des expertises dans les diff&eacute;rents domaines de la transplantation d&rsquo;organes : chirurgie des greffes, coordination et m&eacute;decine de transplantation, interventions radiologiques, transplantation r&eacute;nale (adulte et p&eacute;diatrique), transplantation cardiaque (adulte et p&eacute;diatrique), transplantation pulmonaire, transplantation h&eacute;patique (aspects m&eacute;dicaux), transplantation pancr&eacute;atique (aspects m&eacute;dicaux), immunologie et maladies infectieuses de la transplantation, m&eacute;dicaments immunosuppresseurs et pr&eacute;vention des infections, m&eacute;decine de laboratoire, pathologie clinique (biopsies, etc.) en transplantation, psychologie/psychiatrie en transplantation. Les missions essentielles du Service sont la prise en charge m&eacute;dico-chirurgicale et soignante de haut niveau, hospitali&egrave;re et ambulatoire, pr&eacute;- et post-greffe des patient&middot;e&middot;s, l&rsquo;enseignement (pr&eacute;-, post-gradu&eacute;e ou continue) et la recherche clinique/translationnelle. Le CTO pr&eacute;sente un fonctionnement de nature interdisciplinaire avec les autres secteurs, unit&eacute;s, services et d&eacute;partements concern&eacute;s.</p>

<p>In collaboration with partner services at the CHUV, the CTO provides expertise in various areas of organ transplantation: transplant surgery, transplant coordination and medicine, radiological procedures, kidney transplantation (adult and pediatric), heart transplantation (adult and pediatric), lung transplantation, liver transplantation (medical aspects), pancreas transplantation (medical aspects), immunology and infectious diseases in transplantation, immunosuppressive medication and infection prevention, laboratory medicine, clinical pathology (biopsies, etc.) in transplantation, as well as psychology/psychiatry in transplantation.</p>
<p>The Center&rsquo;s core missions include delivering high-level medical, surgical and nursing care, both inpatient and outpatient, before and after transplantation, as well as teaching (undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing education) and clinical/translational research. The CTO operates in an interdisciplinary manner with the other sectors, units, services, and departments involved</p>

<p>Lead, organize, and manage the development of all activities of a university organ transplant service.</p>
