Executive Physician with an Associate Professor title
in dermatopathology

The Division of dermatology and venereology (DER) provides clinical and laboratory dermatology services, both for CHUV and for external medical institutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for the dermatopathology laboratory and, under the supervision of the Division Head, will be involved in teaching, research, and clinical practice in dermatopathology.

This position offers an environment of academic excellence, with leading clinical and research activities within an internationally recognized Division. Main missions:

• Responsible for dermatopathology laboratory
• Responsible for routine skin biology laboratory
• Lead a skin biology research group
• Pre- and post-graduate teaching
• Outpatient dermatology consultation

Desired profile:

• Federal medical diploma (or recognized MEBEKO title required) and MD or MD-PhD.
• ISFM specialist title or equivalent qualification (MEBEKO recognition required) in dermatology and venereology.
• Specialized training in dermatopathology (European or Swiss competence certificate) and in-depth experience in skin pathology (> 5 years).
• Expertise in molecular and digital dermatopathology.
• Ability to set up research programs supported by external expert funding.
• Professorial knowledge with a proven track record in pre- and post-graduate teaching.
• Recognized managerial skills in leading and managing a research team and in international collaborations.
• Proficiency in French (level at least B2, C1 ideally) or ability to acquire it quickly
