Sarah Mondoloni obtained her PhD in Neuroscience from the Sorbonne University in Paris where she investigated the rewarding and aversive effect of nicotine on midbrain circuits using optogenetic and pharmacology tools. She joined the laboratory of Manuel Mameli as a postdoc to dissect the molecular and circuit adaptations within the lateral habenula emerging during motivation-related behaviours.
