Elia Magrinelli
Post-doctoral fellow

Elia Magrinelli did his Bachelor and Master degree in Biotechnology and Biology at the University of Milan-Bicocca in Italy. He then moved to France for his PhD to study the Neocortex Development in Michele Studer lab (University of Nice, Sophia-Antipolis). After his graduation, he joined Denis Jabaudon lab (University of Geneva) for his postdoc, where he studied the source of neurogenic stochasticity and the dynamics of epigenetic control in cortical development. Elia is a developmental neurobiologist interested in understanding the key processes generating the extreme diversity of structures, cells, and functions in the central nervous system. He now joined the Ludovic Telley lab, where he will contribute to investigating the core molecular determinants of Deep Cerebellar Nuclei development.
