Valentina Mercaldo
Post-doctoral fellow

Valentina received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Tor Vergata University (Rome), where she explored the role of FMRP in the regulation of transport, translation and stability of dendritic mRNAs. Later she worked extensively on learning-dependent synaptic plasticity at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto.
