ASSESSMENT & PROMOTION  OF FREE_LIVING PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN OBESE & NONOBESE & EXPLORATION OF EXERCISE PERFORMANCE IN ATHLETES

a. Studying the implementation of different PA prescriptions (30, 60 or 90 min per day) in non-obese & obese women in real life : exploration of the degree of adherence to prescription and of the putative compensatory mechanism involved.

b. Examining the effect of simulated altitude exposition & intensity of exercise on Lactate turnover during prolonged exercise (cycling) in trained individuals

c. Exploring the regulation of walking velocity by Global Positioning System in individuals with excess body mass subjected to various inclines of terrain (positive & negative slopes) in free-living conditions

d. Developing of a multivariate model for the prediction of total & activity energy  expenditures  in free-living conditions in adults & teenagers, using a non-invasive multi sensors combination.

e. Dissecting Non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT) in real life
Assessment of discontinuous movements (lower & upper limbs, i.e.fidgeting), including discontinuous steps & bursts walking. To what extent short bouts of physical activity contribute to total energy expenditure and confer benefits beyond the total volume of physical activity?
